The Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) and Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA) Annual Conference is the state's premier education conference.  Out of an abundance of caution and keeping the safety of our members in the forefront of our decision-making process, this year's conference is being presented as a VIRTUAL CONFERENCE.

Enter your email address above to register for the Annual Conference as well as the Workshop of your choice.

GSBA affords local school board members a great opportunity to fulfill their annual training requirements for the fiscal year in conjunction with the GSBA/GSSA Annual Conference . This is a convenient way to obtain the necessary credit for annual training (see O.C.G.A 20-2-230). Three excellent programs are available for board members, superintendents and attorneys who represent local boards of education. Below is a brief description of each workshop with pricing. EACH PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP PROVIDES 6 HOURS OF CREDIT.

Pre-Conference Workshops - all agendas to come

E. Freeman Leverett Legal Issues Workshop (December 2, 2020) - $175.00 (Board Members) & $250.00 (Attorneys)

The E. Best Practices-COVID-19: Lessons Learned & What We Know Now - $175.00

School districts have been resilient, as they have taken on the challenges presented by the ebb and flow of the pandemic.  Governance teams are answering new and different questions about how to meet the needs of their students and staff.  What are effective examples of how needs are being met for small, medium and large districts from urban, rural and suburban areas across our state?
