In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the social-emotional obstacles facing our students. School safety is a community-wide concern. Hear the experts discuss ways to address these complex issues. Topics include: Social-Emotional Principles; School Safety: Climate & Positive Student Relationships; Opioid Crisis & Vaping, Drug and Alcohol Abuse; Adverse Childhood Experiences; 
Mental Health and Trauma -Informed Practices

 

As many as 200 school board members, superintendents, educators, community members, law enforcement, policy makers, and business leaders will attend this workshop.
