Who Should Attend:  Board Members, Superintendents and staff involved in the budgeting process.

This workshop is designed specifically for board members and other members of your team who drive development and monitor implementation of the school systems. The intent is to ensure that board members are knowledgeable of essential questions and best practices related to budget and finance for their organizations and avoid the high-risk audit designation. Additional discussion and focus will also be on the board's role after its budget is adopted. The expectation is that the team incorporates sound business and fiscal practices and requires alignment with the organizations's strategic plan, while authority is delegated to the superintendent to administer/implement.
