This course covers skills and knowledge required by board chairs in order to provide leadership to a local board of education and is open to all school board members. The training emphasis includes appropriate interpersonal skills, parliamentary procedure, school law, public relations, working with stakeholders and establishing and monitoring policies.

The continental breakfast begins at 8:30 AM with the program beginning at 9:00 AM. The cost is $220 per person and attendees earn 6 hours of credit.

NOTE:  FOR OVERNIGHT HOTEL GUESTS, A $5 PARKING FEE IS REQUIRED.  THE PARKING FEE DOES NOT APPLY TO MEETING ATTENDEES NOT STAYING IN HOTEL.
