We are glad to have you at the 2019 Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) and Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA) Annual Conference, which is the premier education conference in Georgia held at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, 2450 Galleria Parkway (off Cobb Parkway), Atlanta, Georgia 30339, adjacent to the Cobb Galleria. 

 

Please share the important information with ALL staff who will be in attendance at the exhibit show.

Electricity and Carpet: All booths include electricity and the area is carpeted. You may order additional carpet through Freeman Exhibit Services. Bring an extension cord – otherwise, renting one from PSAV will cost you. GSBA does not have extra cords to loan.

Certain furniture, if requested with your registration, is no additional charge. Read and select carefully.

* Open Island Spaces #84-93 includes electricity, area is carpeted. Back drape only - no 3’ side rails for open access. These spaces are against solid walls; whereas, other spaces have no solid walls. Back pipe and drape is to allow for hanging/displaying things or exhibitor can bring their own back wall. 

 

** Note: Certain 8'x8' spaces are expandable to 8'x10' with GSBA prior approval and will be charged at 8'x10' prices. They are 3, 8, 13, 18, 23, 25, 30, 31, 36, 37 thru 40, 41, 46, 47 thru 50 and 51. Mention that you want to upsize in the comments section.


What Is Included?

  • Continental breakfast and break refreshments are available for your booth staff. However, each exhibit space includes just ONE (1) Thursday lunch ticket and, just ONE (1) Friday lunch ticket. Purchase additional lunch tickets ($40/each) with your conference registration OR by 9:30 a.m. on-site at the Conference Registration Desk. 
  • Exhibit pricing includes electricity. An outlet will be on the floor at the back drape. Consider bringing your own extension cord depending on your booth plan.
  • The exhibit area is already carpeted with hotel carpet. Additional carpet, if desired, may be obtained from Freeman Exhibit Services.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available in the exhibit area.
  • Open to everyone: Breakout sessions and the General Sessions in the Grand Ballroom. 
  • Open to everyone: Voluntary Time of Inspiration from 7 a.m. - 7:45 a.m., Thursday morning in Habersham Ballroom.
  • List ALL who will be attending in the Exhibit Staff list. Additional badges are available at an extra charge of $25/each.

  • Free 20-word company description in the December issue of Connections Magazine, a guide to supporters of public education, with short description and contact info. Please keep your company description succinct. For more space to promote your company, place a half page color ad (only $300) or full page color ad ($500). Hurry - Reserve ad space by October 18th! 
  • Listing on the GSBA Website as an Exhibitor.
  • Listing on the conference app. To be activated in October!

Lodging

Special rates will be available at the Renaissance Waverly and several overflow hotels.

Please let them know you are attending the GSBA/GSSA conference. The hotel will open for reservations in October - TBD.

 

Cancellations

Exhibit cancellations must be received by November 15, 2019 midnight, via email to pharrison@gsba.com, to receive a refund minus a $50 administrative fee. Refunds will not be given after November 15, 2019.
